How do we engage student teachers in developing research-informed practice? How significant are their personal and emotional epistemologies? How may these differ according to previous (academic) experiences? This webinar will briefly present key findings from a recent study (Peiser, Pratt & Putwain, 2022) to provoke discussion and sharing of practice by participants.

This open access online webinar is aimed at teacher educators interested in developing their own academic writing or that of their students. The workshop may be of particular interest to those considering making a submission to the 2023 TEAN conference (deadline 6th January 2023).

We will consider concise general guidelines and writing strategies then discuss how participants’ research or evaluation of practice projects might be presented with powerful titles and abstracts that will get accepted at conference and attract an interested audience.
